Nueva Vista Phoenix

Powerful Outcomes in Wellness, Education, & Recreation (POWER) is an after school program that has been recognized for excellence throughout Region 8 (Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Kern Counties). We’ve been invited numerous times to present at conferences across our region and state, and have been highlighted and visited by many different after school entities. We provide safe, effective, innovative, & engaging learning, nutrition, and physical activity programs for DUSD students in grades TK-8.

  • Social Play with Mrs. Silva

    Learning how to social play, taking turns, sharing, communicating with peers.

  • Intro to Pee Wee Sports

    This intro to Pee Wee sports is for children to have a chance to learn the fundamentals of baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and much more in a fun, safe, and non-competitive environment.

  • Beginning Golf II

    This course is for students who already have some knowledge in basic golf etiquette and want to continue improving their skills in their form and chipping.

  • Imagine With Me

    Folklórico

    Baile folklorico can help students from around the world better understand México. Each style of dance teaches something about México, and different regions of the country showcase their history through their bailes.
